J. Michael Thigpen

J. Michael Thigpen (PhD, Hebrew Union College) serves as professor of Old Testament at Phoenix Seminary, where he previously served as provost and executive vice president. Before joining Phoenix, Thigpen served for more than a decade as the executive director of the Evangelical Theological Society. He’s the author of Divine Motive in the Hebrew Bible (Gorgias, 2015). He and his wife, Bonnie, have two grown daughters, Abigail and Hannah.
