Sara Joy Proppe

Sara Joy Proppe started Proximity Project to educate and advise churches on creative avenues to steward their properties for the common good within the contexts of their neighborhoods. Previously, she worked in the private sector managing new market-rate development, affordable housing, and historic rehabilitation projects. She co-hosts The Embedded Church podcast with Eric Jacobsen. She has a BA in English literature and an MA in community and regional planning.
