Melanie Hempe

Melanie Hempe (BSN, Emory University) is the founder of ScreenStrong, a national nonprofit that works with families to eliminate childhood screen dependency. She has written three books for parents and hosts a weekly podcast, ScreenStrong Families. Her work has been featured in Psychology Today, The Wall Street Journal, Thrive-Global, A&E Network, CBS, NPR, CNN, the documentary Screened Out, and various news and television outlets. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and four children.
